OUR ROLE
The Zoning Committee will regularly receive and review applications for rezoning, variances, graphics, other zoning adjustment appeals and special permits located wholly or partially within the boundaries of the University Area Commission. It will also review, monitor and vote on all requests for demolitions.
OUR duties

Regularly receive, review with each applicant, and make reccomendations to the Commission on all applications for rezoning, variances, graphics, and other zoning adjustment appeals, and special permits located wholly or partially in the area;

Review, monitor, and approve all requests for demolitions. The decision of this committee on all such requests is not final until and must be reported to the Commission at the next regularly scheduled meeting. Upon motion by an commissioner, requests may be reconsidered by the entire commission and approved by majority vote.
