Very big changes are in the works for traffic flows on 2 main thoroughfares in the University District: Summit St. and N. 4th St.

The project includes:
- Installation of a protected bike lane on Summit Street between
- 11th Avenue and Hudson Street – (columbus.gov/protectedbikelanes)
- Relocation, removal and addition of some parking meters on Fourth and Third Streets
- Relocation and removal addition of some parking spaces on Fourth and Summit Streets
- Installation of queue box pavement markings – (columbus.gov/queuebox)
- Restriping to provide bike lanes
- Installation of bus bulbs (columbus.gov/protectedbikelanes)
Project Schedule:
Design began in spring 2014 and is scheduled for completion in spring 2015
Construction is tentatively scheduled to start in June 2015
