About the Zoning Committee
- Regularly receive, review with each applicant, and make recommendations to the Commission on all applications for rezoning, variances, graphics and other zoning adjustment appeals, and special permits located wholly or partially in the area; and,
- Review, monitor, and approve all requests for demolitions. The decision of this committee on all such requests is not final until and must be reported to the Commission at the next regularly scheduled meeting. Upon a motion by any commissioner, requests may be reconsidered by the entire Commission and approved by majority vote.

Zoning Committee Meetings
The Zoning Committee meets the first Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m at the Northwood-High Building, 2231 N. High St., Columbus, Ohio 43201. Please see the agenda, from our website home page feed, for log on information.
Please be advised that application deadlines to submit a zoning case to the Zoning Committee Chair is 7 calendar days before the regular monthly Zoning Committee meeting. Consult the posted schedule for specific dates, if changed from the usual 3rd Wednesday of each month. Cases received after the deadline will be considered at the following month’s Zoning Committee meeting.
