Code Enforcement and Environment

About the Committee

The Code Enforcement & Environment Committee shall:

  • Address, research, and make recommendations on crime, health, sanitation, safety, building code, and traffic issues in the area;
  • Make recommendations to change city codes applicable to crime, health, sanitation, safety, building code, and traffic issues;
  • Devise procedures to address issues with existing building code; and,
  • Develop a list of contact persons to report and track code enforcement related issues.

Meets the First Thursday of every month at 6:30 pm in the Lower Level of the the Indianola Church of Christ, 2141 Indianola Ave. Public participation is welcomed.
