The UAC wants to connect to neighborhood organizations big and small. We are currently updating our list of community contacts.
Why?
The UAC and the City are currently working on a planning process for the area. Part of our charge is to ensure that there is broad participation from the community in the process. Having a comprehensive list of community organizations of varying sizes with diverse interests will ensure our success in this endeavor.
Secondly, we regularly receive information from the city that is of interest to the community we want to distribute it quickly to the neighborhood. Finally, as individuals look to move the district we want to be able to show what a diverse and active community we have as well as where appropriate provide information to new citizens on how to become more involved in our neighborhoods.
